A total of 17 dedicated stations – equipped with Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles – are available for solo play, or for those who want to team up. Entry is included with your visit, eliminating any hidden fees or Priority Pass requirements. It’s a deliberate shift away from the passive waiting that defines so much of airport Travel.
Beyond the console
But Portal Lounge isn’t just about pixels. A prominent robot bartender – a decidedly un-airport-like addition – serves up bespoke cocktails and mocktails, alongside a generously stocked buffet. Forget pre-packaged snacks; here, travelers can build-your-own bowls with chicken, rice, tofu, and a variety of sauces. From sliders and buffalo cauliflower to salads and decadent desserts, there’s something to satisfy almost any craving. Signature drinks, like the ‘Lag Free’ – a Minnesota-inspired margarita – and ‘Prince’s Lemonade,’ a zero-proof homage to the city’s musical icon, add a local flavor.
