Jw marriott unveils first all-inclusive resort in costa rica

JW Marriott has launched its first all-inclusive property, the JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort & Spa, All-Inclusive, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Immersive costa rican experience

Instead of building from scratch, the resort has been entirely reimagined from the former Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica property. The design incorporates elements of traditional Costa Rican architecture as well as that of the Bribri and Cabécar Indigenous peoples.

The resort boasts 415 rooms, including the exclusive Griffin Club, offering more privacy, butler services, and dedicated pool and beach access.

The resort's poolscape measures an impressive 44,000 square feet, according to Marriott, featuring pool cabanas and a large on-property garden.

A modern fitness center, kids club, and dedicated family experiences are part of the Family by JW program.

Spa and dining delights

The Spa by JW spans 16,000 square feet, offering full-body treatments, massages, and kid-friendly options.

The resort features 11 bars and restaurants, including international, Japanese, seafood, Italian, and Costa Rican dining venues. Guests can even learn to cook at the culinary school, providing interactive sessions to prepare local dishes and develop new kitchen skills.

A nod to J.W. Marriott Sr.'s original business, the property will open the brand's first stand-alone root beer stand.

Bookings are now open for the resort's September 10 opening, with rates starting at $577 per night for double occupancy.
