Jetblue premier card boosts perks, but are they worth it?
JetBlue is refreshing its premium credit card, the JetBlue Premier Card, with a slew of enhanced benefits designed to sweeten the deal for frequent flyers and loyal customers.
New perks for the jetblue premier card
The revamped card now offers a more generous welcome bonus, an elite status boost, elevated redemption rebates, and improved travel statement credits, among other perks.
One of the most notable changes is the elevated welcome offer, which grants 100,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening. That's worth $1,350 according to The Points Guy's valuations.
Cardholders will also receive 25 Tiles towards Mosaic elite status at the beginning of each calendar year, effectively putting them halfway to entry-level Mosaic 1 status, which includes perks like a free checked bag, preferred seating, and more.
JetBlue Premier Cardholders can unlock a companion pass worth up to $500 after spending $15,000 on their card in a calendar year. And if they hit $75,000 in spend, they'll earn an additional companion pass worth up to $1,500.
The card's redemption rebate has also been bumped up to 15% of TrueBlue points back on award flight redemptions when flying JetBlue or a partner airline, up from the previous 10% rebate.
ClassPass benefits have also been upgraded, with cardholders now receiving up to 14 monthly credits upon enrollment.
JetBlue is also expanding its airport lounge offerings with the opening of a new BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport.
Are the new perks worth it?
