Thailand's tourism sector braces for uncertainty amid global tensions

Airlines are facing possible delays and fuel prices are creeping upward as a result of the distant turmoil. This has already led to ticket price hikes of 10-15%, particularly noticeable on Thai Airways, which deliberately raised rates to offset added costs. The sector is bracing for significant financial setbacks in the coming months, with potential losses projected in the billions of baht.

In response to these threats, Thailand's Tourism Authority has launched a special crisis unit, dubbed a
